2007 Napa Valley Merlot
Deep ruby red in the glass. The nose has hints of mint, dried cranberry and cedar smoke. Firm tannins frame the body of dark cherry, cola and cassis.
The Steeplechase Merlot is a big expression of Napa Valley fruit. A strong full expression of Merlot with a variety of dark fruits and a long cedar and smoke finish. It's full body and ample tannins will also allow extended cellar aging.
Although our Merlot is delicious by itself, it really is the ideal food wine. Try this traditional Napa valley merlot with pork, stuffed with wild mushrooms and goat cheese.

2010 North Coast Chardonnay
Steeplechase Chardonnay North Coast 2010 Light straw yellow with a variety of fruit flavors including apricot and peach. Notes of rose petals and a slight mineral finish.
2009 Russian River Valley Chardonnay
Medium straw in color with buttery, pear and vanilla oak.
A pleasant burst of tropical fruit on the palate, with tastes of pineapple, pear, citrus and melon. the mouth-feel is juicy and lush with a clean, long finish. As the finish subsides you find yourself reaching for another taste.
The subtle citrus notes in our Chardonnay work to refresh the palate so that each bite of food tastes like the first. Try this Chardonnay with poached salmon and herb butter for the perfect pairing.

2011 California Cabernet Sauvignon
Steeplechase Cabernet California 2011 Dark red in color, floral notes frame the nose with dark fruits, black cherry, blackberry, smoky cigar box and oak aromas. You’ll enjoy the velvet mouth-feel with dried cranberries, plum and earth flavors. Merlot and Syrah have been blended to add complexity to the middle body and through the finish. Sufficient tannins will allow this wine to age gracefully.
2007 Red Hills Cabernet Sauvignon
Red hillside soils rich in obsidian allow good drainage and act to retain heat through the evening helping to fully ripen this Red Hills Cabernet fruit. Deep, dark Bordeaux red in color, floral notes frame the nose with dark fruits, black cherry, blackberry, smoky cigar box and oak aromas. You’ll enjoy the velvet mouth-feel with dried cranberries, plum and earth flavors. Merlot and Cabernet Franc have been blended to add complexity to the middle body and through the finish. Sufficient tannins will allow this wine to age gracefully.
